Hair Philosophy
“The relationship between a hairdresser and a bride goes far beyond hairspray and curling irons. It’s built on connection and trust.”
Where it started
Growing up in a small, faith-filled home where television was limited, I discovered my creativity by braiding my sister’s hair and styling my Barbie’s hair (even though I learned the hard way…. Barbie’s hair does not t grow back) Also, I grew up on a farm out in north western Oklahoma and watching tv let alone movies was a real treat! So, whenever I did get the chance you bet your bottom dollar I was watching Disney movies!! The princess and hairstyles felt like pure magic and I’ve been chasing that feeling ever since.
With nearly 20 years being behind the chair, I’ve learned that styling hair is about so much more than creating pretty looks…..it’s about building connections.
My heart is to be more than just a hairstylist. I strive to be a calm in the chaos, a listening ear, a hype girl, and as close as a best friend on one of the biggest days of your life.
Wanna know more…..
When I’m not styling brides, you can find me snuggled up with my husband, loving on our fur-babies, sipping a martini or vino, while watching movies, or spending time with my family. I’m always working on finding balance in this wild ride called my forties.
I may be a little behind on blogging or vlogging and a little awkward in front of the camera, but I’m really good at hair and making others feel like their most beautiful, authentic selves. I love fixing and placing wedding veils, holding brides’ hands, hyping them up, and making sure every curl is perfect.
Honestly, I can’t even put into words how lucky I feel to have a career that’s like one big girls’ day, laughing, glamming, and celebrating some of life’s most special moments. I feel beyond blessed to call this my job!
